Getting started

From install to your first live bundle in about five minutes:

1. Install Bondi from the Shopify App Store. You'll land on the Bondi dashboard inside your Shopify admin.
2. Create your first offer — click Create bundle and choose a type (Mix & Match, Volume, BOGO, or Fixed set).
3. Pick products and a discount — select the product pool, then set a percentage off, amount off, or a fixed bundle price.
4. Publish — the discount registers with Shopify checkout automatically.
5. (Optional) Enable the theme embed — one toggle in your theme editor shows the bundle builder and volume tier tables on product pages.

Bundle types

Mix & Match

Shoppers pick N products from a pool you define — a fixed count ("pick exactly 3") or a range ("pick 2–5"). Every Mix & Match bundle gets a hosted bundle page with a live builder at a shareable URL — link it from ads, emails, or social.

Volume breaks

Quantity tiers on a single product: buy 3+ save 15% · buy 5+ save 25%. The tier table renders on the product page before add-to-cart, so shoppers see the bulk math while deciding.

BOGO

Buy X get Y, free or discounted. Buy and get product sets are independent — "buy 2 snowboards, get 1 wax free" works as well as same-product BOGO. Applies automatically at checkout; there are no codes to distribute or police.

Fixed sets

A predefined set sold together at one price. Best for starter kits and gift sets your team curates once.

Storefront setup

Theme app embed (recommended)

1. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2. Open App embeds in the left sidebar.
3. Toggle Bondi bundle builder on and save.

That's the whole setup. The builder and volume tier tables now render on the product pages of any product that belongs to a live offer.

Hosted bundle pages

Every Mix & Match bundle has a page at /apps/bundleapp/bundle/<handle>. Find the link on the bundle's detail page in the admin — the Copy link button gives you the shareable URL.

Analytics

Bondi tracks a four-stage funnel per bundle: views → builds → add-to-cart → purchases, joined to real order revenue.

• Revenue is discount-scoped. Only line items the bundle discount actually touched are credited — unrelated items in the same order are not counted.
• Refund-aware. When an order is refunded, bundle revenue is reversed pro-rata to the fraction refunded. Nothing is double-reversed.
• Most-combined products (Growth and up) shows which products shoppers actually pair together — a great source of new bundle ideas.

AI suggestions

Bondi analyses your store's real order history and proposes bundles, each with a rationale, a confidence level, and a revenue projection.

• Approve creates a draft bundle you can tweak and publish.
• Dismiss hides a suggestion permanently.
• Growth plan: suggestions refresh weekly. Pro plan: refresh on demand.

Suggestions are generated from your store's data only — your order history is never used for other merchants.

Plans & billing

• Billing runs through the Shopify Billing API — charges appear on your normal Shopify invoice.
• All paid plans include a 7-day free trial.
• Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time from the Plans page in the app.
• Downgrades are enforced honestly: offers beyond your new plan's limits are disabled, not silently left running at checkout. Re-upgrading re-enables them.

Troubleshooting

"The discount doesn't show on the cart page"

"The builder widget isn't showing on my product page"

1. Check the theme app embed is toggled on (Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds).
2. Confirm the product belongs to a published (not draft) offer.
3. Hard-refresh the product page (Ctrl+Shift+R) — theme editor changes can take a minute to propagate.

"Another discount app seems to conflict"

Shopify allows one Cart Transform per store. Bondi never claims it — but if another app has, some combinations of apps may behave unexpectedly. Bondi shows a warning banner on the dashboard when it detects a competing app holding the transform slot.

"A bundle shows Active but the discount isn't applying"

Try republishing the bundle (unpublish → publish). If the discount still doesn't apply at checkout, contact us — include the bundle name and your store domain and we'll investigate the discount registration on our side.
